The Mayonnaise Jar

The Mayonnaise Jar

When things in your life seem , almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class
And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Please share this with other "Golf Balls" I just did.......

And the final one

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,

'Nothing, I just helped him cry'

Dance....

i love dancing and the many many different types of it. Dance (from French danser, perhaps from Frankish) is an art form that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music,[1] used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting.(WIKIpedia) dancing is mostly used now as performance, as a way to express once feeling as its sometimes hard to say in words.

this shows that no matter what u do u could always have the hobby or chance to express yourself by anyway and dancing is even a passion to some people.
some of the types of dancing would be:
  • ballroom dancing
  • break dancing
  • salsa
  • belly dancing
  • cha cha cha
  • latin dance
  • pop,lock and drop (hiphop)
  • tango
  • there are so many more types of dances.
this group diversity performed for Britain got talent, they took place in that competition and the group consist of brothers and friends from different races and age. They are some still in school college and even university but they come together to share their passion for street dancing and they performed superbly.

A walk d0wn mem0ry lane ....

This is me when i was a baby.... im the youngest of 3 and i have 2 elder brothers. im n0t sure when exactly this picture was taken but im sure its when i was still very young.

More n more picture of me when i was younger, sometimes how i wish i could turn back time.

This was during the time they had to shave my hair off =p

These picture was taken when i was about 1 year 2months old with my mummy and daddy =D looking back at these pictures makes me miss the old time and wish i never grew up. Thinking back of of all these times i realize how much i have been love .

I am close to my cousins, i love them a lot and when i was going through albums looking for old pictures, i found these and realize how much we've grown, looking at how young and naive we use to be and where we are now it just makes me love them even more and wish i could freeze time or go back in past and relive the childhood i had.
Because im the only daughter with 2 elder brother, my mother was so happy that she started buying all the cute dresses and she would always change my dress and make my hair. i felt like a barbie doll but too young to realize anything but now i know its all out of love and happiness to have me a daughter and i am very grateful to my parents for everything.
This picture shows my cousins and I and this cousins are very close to me until now which is the reason why i love them so much.

During my birthday when i was 5 years old, the first picture shows my brothers and i ad the second picture my cousins and i and i still remember how happy it was and they made a big party while my mother dress me in one of her favorite dress. i can still remember the cake and all the food that they cooked for me that day.

I miss my Childhood, I miss my everything that's there in being a child.
these are all good moments and i have many many more, this is my past n i will treasure it always. Good times indeed =D

WHITNEY HOUSTON FEATURING MARIAH CAREY -
WHEN YOU BELIEVE...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wHT1Mtb-JA

Many nights we've prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood

Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long
Before we knew we could
(Oh yes)

There can be miracles when you believe
Though hope is frail its hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe
(oh yeah)

In this time of fear
When prayers so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away

Yet now I'm standing here
With heart so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles when you believe (when you believe)
Though hope is frail its hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve (you can achieve)
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe

They don't always happen when you ask
And its easy to give in to your fears (oh)
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way straight though the rain
a small but still, resilient voice
Says love is very near (yeah yeah)

There can be miracles (miracles) when you believe (lord when you believe oh ho)
Though hope is frail (though hope is frail) its hard to kill (it's haaaard to kill oh oh)
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe,(oohooh) somehow you will
somehow you will
You will when you believe

You will when you believe
Just believe (2 times)... (oh yeah)
You will when you believe

..........................................................................................................
..........................................................................................................

I picked this song because when i heard it, it gave a lot of meaning that even when hope is gone or how hard things can be but just keep believing and there might be miracle. This song touched my heart and the 2 singers were awesome in singing the song. even listening to the song, the lyrics says it all. The deep meaning of it not just the obvious words but what mean it has that touches one's heart. when i lose hope or i give up, i turn back to this song and it gives me the strength to move on and keep believing. through how much pain and misery never stop believing. Miracle can happen to anyone at anytime...

Life is to0 short t0 waste time hating Any0ne....

A story tells that two friends

were walking

through the desert

During some point of the

Journey they had an

Argument, and one friend

Slapped the other one

In the face.

The one who got slapped

was hurt, but without

saying anything,

wrote in the sand:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND

SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE
.

They kept on walking

until they found an oasis,

where they decided

to take a bath.

The one who had been

slapped got stuck in the

mire and started drowning,

but the friend saved him.

After he recovered from

the near drowning,

he wrote on a stone:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND

SAVED MY LIFE.

The friend who had slapped

and saved his best friend

asked him, "After I hurt you,

you wrote in the sand and now,

you write on a stone, why?"

The other friend replied

"When someone hurts us

we should write it down

in sand where winds of

forgiveness can erase it away.

But, when someone does

something good for us,

we must engrave it in stone

where no wind

can ever erase it."

life's too short to hate anyone and this story shows how someone love his best friend that he is willing to forget the hurt and never forget the love. i think that we should learn, just because a friend have hurt you before doesn't mean you cant be friends again, we have to learn to forgive and forget and move on with our lives because we want to be love and not hate at and why put more burden on our self and make ourselves more stressful with hate when its so much easier to love.

Thanks to Isaac, a good friend for this story.

Bandung, Paris Van Java....

Set 750m above sea level, and protected by a fortress of watchful volcanoes 190km southeast of

Jakarta, BANDUNG is the third largest city in Indonesia. Sundanese culture has remained

intact here since the fifth century when the first Hindu Sundanese settled in this part of West

Java.Modern Bandung's main tourist attraction is nearby Tangkbuhan Prahu volcano.

Well i was in Bandung last year with my family members and it was very exciting and fun. That

was actually my first time going to a volcano. Bandung is shopping heaven (Ladies you HAVE to

visit Bandung for an an awesome shopping time). I was there for a few day and we visited a lot of

the factory outlets, because most of us wanted to go shopping =) and these are some of the

shopping outlets that i must say is a very nice place to shop :

1.Rumah mode ( the best in Bandung and a must visit)

2. Terminal Tas ( lots of branded ladies handbag)

3. Summit

4.Heritage

5. Secret

6. Victoria Factory Outlet

7. Merdeka

and for the males that were there which was my brother, cousin and uncle they were more

interested with the sight seeing and they took a lot of pictures. These are some of the pictures

taken that i want to share :

( this was our hotel where we stayed, it was actually newly opened when we were there and it was a 4 star hotel, which was very comfortable and worth the money i must say )

( this was taken inside the hotel where my cousins put on a show, was actually very shocking because none of us knew that they could actually sing and play the piano.......... well they didnt actually performed , just taken for the sake of photo hehe )

( Pak Anton, our tour guide and he was very helpful especially to us ladies because we keep asking where was the best shopping place and he would bring us to the best factory outlets... thanks pak Anton u were really helpful :) )

( the food that taste go0o0od, the murtabak there is very unique and delicious, a must try! the food we got usually was Sudanese food which was also very tasty, i actually love how they cook the curry there. They have there in bandung 'nasi padang', 'Bagator' and also 'Siamoi' which is Indonesian traditional food)

( Air Ajaib - which was actually Hot spring water, really hot and nice and calming)

( At Tangkuban Perahu Volcano. Tangkuban mean flipped and perahu mean boat. It literally mean the shape of the mountain looks like a flipped boat. As you can see that we are pointing towards the crater.)

( At tangkuban Perahu there are a lot of shops ,there are rows of souvenirs shops which sells a lot of nice things)

( At the airport going back, bye bye Bandung it was fun and i definitely would want to go there again for another good shopping time )
